Our House
The Shelter was constructed in 1921 and has undergone several major renovations. We’ve recently updated the landscaping, Dining Room, Rec Room, Library, flooring, and added a basketball court.

Three meals are served daily Monday-Thursday and Two meals are served on Fridays by Best Fed Greeks Catering Company. Breakfast and lunch are served buffet style from 7:00 AM to 9:00AM and from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM. Dinner is served family style every night (Monday through Thursday) at 5:30 PM. A brunch is served every Sunday from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM.

House Mother: Our House Mother lives in-house in her own connected apartment. She helps to schedule special events, meals, maintenance projects, house cleanings, and chairs our Mom’s Club. She is also there for the men of the house for support while away from home.
Rooms:

New Member Rooms: New Members are 3-4 man common rooms. These rooms typically include their closets, desk space, lounge furniture, TV’s, gaming, etc.
Active Member Rooms Include:
2-3 Man Common Rooms: Similar to new member rooms
2 Man Suites: Suites include sleeping quarters
1 Man Suites: Suites include sleeping quarters

Sleeping Dormitory:
The sleeping dorm is sectioned from the house to provide optimal conditions for sleeping. It is kept dark, cool, quiet at all times.
Formal Room: This room is the main entry space of the house. It is kept neat and clean during the day and for formal events. When not being used formally, members enjoy using this space as an additional study area.
Study Room: Our newly renovated Study Room consists of 6 desks equipped with task lighting, and plenty of power to encourage studying. There are also additional chairs for groups.
Dining Room: This space is used for all meals and special event dining. When not in use for meals, it is a great place for group studying.
Rec Room: This space was renovated in 2016 to include booth seating, 5 TV’s, and Sound System. It is used for a multitude of events including, mixers, tailgates, watch parties, homecoming, studying, and Rock Chalk Revue Practice. It is a favorite spot for members to hang out.
Laundry Room: Equipped with 3 washers and dryers which are provided free of charge.
Bathrooms: 3 large public bathrooms/showers are located on the first and second floor.

Technology: Business level Wi-Fi is provided throughout the house. Services include free printing.
