Delta Tau Delta was founded in 1858 at Bethany College in what is now northern West Virginia. Since 1858, the Fraternity has spread to nearly 200 campuses, with more than 130 active chapters and colonies comprised of roughly 10,000 students. More than 170,000 men have joined the brotherhood of Delta Tau Delta since its founding. The Gamma Tau Chapter at The University of Kansas was founded in 1912.

The Fraternity House stands at 1111 W. 11th St., overlooking Kansas Memorial Stadium and a 7 minute walk to the Jayhawk Blvd. Our mission is simple but straightforward, “Committed to Lives of Excellence.” On campus our members are committed to living lives that reflect themselves, the Fraternity and every part of their being to a level of excellence. As a Fraternity we are dedicated to helping men achieve lives of excellence in the classroom and in the community.
